Hi! I’m Meg Rubinstein, the creative force behind Sugarberry Design Studio. I design and build unique wood decor, gifts, and keepsakes, all from my home studio.
I started Sugarberry (then called Eilifint Designs) over 10 years ago as a hobby. It all began with a wine caddy I made for my mom. On a whim, I put it on Etsy, and much to my surprise, people bought them! Over the years, it has been a nice outlet to explore my creative side.
And then, a few years ago, my world was completely upended. The plan I had for my life was out the window, and I had to find a way to support myself and my kids. Sugarberry offered the perfect blend of flexibility and creativity. However, while I loved creating beautiful pieces, I lacked the business knowledge to take things to the next level. So, I returned to school, earning degrees in marketing and business administration.
A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.
Like me, Sugarberry Design Studio is constantly evolving. The knowledge I’ve gained will allow me to offer an even wider selection of high-quality, handcrafted items. Expect exciting new product lines and a focus on creating personalized pieces that perfectly reflect your unique style.
Through it all, one thing remains constant: my love for using design to solve problems and create something special.
